You will be observed by a qualified assessor, carrying out your normal working duties. Your assessor will ask you questions and check your knowledge and understanding and will also conduct two driving assessments with you.

Entry Requirements: |
|
You must be working in the transport industry with the relevant driving licence. |
Course Outline: |

Mandatory Units: You must complete all of these
Unit 1: Monitoring the loading of the vehicles by others
Unit 2: Completing Pre-driving preparations
Unit 3: Maintaining the safety and the security of the load, self and property
Unit 4: Maintaining awareness of driving conditions
Unit 5: Operating the vehicle systems
Unit 7: Driving the vehicle in restricted spaces
Unit 8: Unloading the vehicle
Unit 9: Driving the vehicle safely and effectively on public roads
Additional Units - you must complete at least two of these:
Unit 10: Coupling and uncoupling the vehicle
Unit 11: Obtaining information on the delivery and collection of loads
Unit 12: Planning the route and timings for the delivery and collection of loads
Unit 13: Loading the vehicle

Assessment: |
|
You will be assessed by the following methods:
Observations, Questioning, Witness Testimonies, Photographic evidence – supplementary product evidence and professional discussion.
