This programme provides a great introduction to the theory and practice of marketing. It explores the 4P’s – Product, Price, Place and Promotion – and the ways in which effective marketing can win and retain loyal customers for your business.

This course will suit people that are new to a marketing role without little or no formal experience but have responsibility for targeting marketing and sales objectives within their organisation.

Our Sales & Marketing courses can be delivered at our training facility in Derby, or onsite at the clients premises. We can deliver all of these courses on a 1-2-1 basis at £175 plus VAT (per day), however for bookings of 2 people or more prices start at £125 per person plus VAT (per day).

Course Outline:

 

• Define what marketing is and the range of
areas it encompasses
• Segment customers into meaningful groups
and identify the ones that are – or could be –
most profitable.
• Analyse the business – SWOT Analysis
• Identify the four types of marketing strategy available and determine which is most appropriate for the business.
Promote the business effectively

Assessment:

 

Candidates will complete a short assessment paper.
