The Level 4 NVQ Direct Training and Support is suitable for those who deliver and/or develop learning and development programmes and those who support learners.

Candidates must be working in a managerial position within a training environment. |

G3 (033) – Evaluate and develop own practice
L4 (004) – Design learning programmes
L5 (005) – Agree learning programmes with learners
L8 (008) – Manage the contribution of other people to the learning process
L9 (009) – Create a climate that promotes learning
L17 (017) – Evaluate and improve learning and development programmes
Either L2 or L3
L3 (003) – Identify individual learning aims and programmes
L2 (002) – Identify the learning and development needs of the organisation
Optional Units: You must choose any four from the list
L7 (007) – Prepare and develop resources to support learning
L13 (013) – Enable group learning
L14 (014) – Support learners by mentoring in the workplace
L15 (015) – Support and advise individual learners
L16 (016) – Monitor and review progress with learners
L18 (018) – Respond to changes in learning and development
L19 (019) – Provide learning and development in international settings
L21 (021) – Plan how to provide basic skills in the workplace
L22 (022) – Introduce training for basic skills in the workplace
A1 (025) – Assess candidates’ using a range of methods
A2 (026) – Assess candidates’ performance through observation

Observations, Questioning, Witness Testimonies, Photographic evidence – supplementary product evidence and professional discussion.
